Colònia de Sant Pere. Embankment

The resort area of Colonia de Sant Pere, in Mallorca, is located north of the city of Artà, on the shores of d’Alcudia Bay. We are looking at the promenade of this resort from the restaurant, Es Vivers. You can see the summer terrace of the restaurant, the promenade of Poligon de la Mar, and high mountains on the opposite side of the bay.

The embankment at the resort is a pedestrian zone, and all the entrances to it are blocked by prohibiting signs. Cars and trucks here can be seen only in the late evening and early morning, when they serve local institutions. Along the embankment, concrete benches are placed and hidden in the shade of trees, so you can relax on these benches in the heat.

Most of the coastal zone of Colonia de Sant Pere is a rocky coast, but on both sides of the restaurant, Es Vivers, you can find two small beaches, one is named after the resort and the other is called Calo d’Es Parral.

The Es Vivers restaurant works only during the holiday season; from November to January, on the whole island, you are unlikely to find a good restaurant that continues to serve a small number of tourists. Here, you will find specialties of local products from the chef and the owner of the restaurant, Mario.
