You can see the ski runs of the Pizol resort. On the left is Furt-Gaffia cableway, and we are looking at it from Gaffia station, built at an altitude of 1,688 meters above sea level. If you want to climb even higher, the next lift, which leads to the highest point of Pizol-Pizolhütte, is nearby.

As at many stations of any Swiss ski resort, an all-season restaurant is opened next to Gaffia. Here you can have a meal between the descents or just get warm, if the weather in Bad Ragaz is not good for skiing.

Just below the station on which this camera is installed, the mountain hut, Berghotel Gaffia, was built. There are several accommodation options for holidaymakers, all of which are quite affordable. For example, a double room with shower and toilet, with half board included, is 100 Swiss francs. A more simple room, also with food and accommodating up to 4 guests, costs 80 francs.

The most interesting thing is that such mountain hotels are not a newfangled trend that arose several years ago. If you stay at Berghotel Gaffia, you will be plunged into the atmosphere of the 1930s, when it was built.
