Bad Ragaz. Pardiel Station

The resort you see on the screen is open in the Swiss commune of Bad Ragaz, over the valley of the river Tamina.

Previously, this place was famous only for the fact that the German philosopher Friedrich Wilhelm Josef von Schelling lived here. There are a lot of tourists there now, they occupy the local ski slopes, where not only tracks but restaurants, cafes and hotels are also situated.

At Pardiel station, where this webcam is installed, there are a couple of hotels with restaurants. Berggasthaus Pizol has package proposals which include overnight stay+ ski pass. For 600 euros you can stay here for 5 days and get a pass to all the ski lifts of the resort.

Near Pardiel station are several small lifts where you can learn the basics of skiing. One of these training routes can be seen on this camera.

By the way, this is not the highest point of the resort, so experienced skiers and snowboarders can go even higher to the stations Pizolhütte and Laufböden.
