Grindelwald. Männlichen Ski Resort
Mount Männlichen is known today for its ski slopes, which include more than 100 kilometers of trails. At the top of the mountain are two lifts, one from Grindelwald and one from Wengen. Because of the weather conditions, these cableways have roofed cabins, so skiers and snowboarders can relax during the ascent to the beginning of the trails. Grindelwald-Männlichen, at the time of its opening, was the longest cableway in the world.
Prices for a ski pass to Männlichen are traditionally high, like in other Swiss resorts. One day of skiing costs more than 70 euros, which is much higher than in similar ski areas in the resorts of neighboring Italy.
The camera is installed at the intermediate station of the resort. There is a mountain restaurant and hotel, Männlichen Berghaus, which you can see on the screen. Also, we can see the beginning of several interesting routes, of varying degrees of complexity, leading to the foot of the mountain.
Another free bonus for holidaymakers in Grindelwald is the stunning panorama of the mountain peaks. Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau can all be seen in the picture.
