Lenk im Simmental. Metschstand Station

Metschstand is one of the peaks in the ski resort of Adelboden-Lenk. The cableway station, on which this webcam is installed, has the same name. From here, you can easily see the main slope of the resort, the Lenk community in the mountain valley, as well as the Alpine peaks.

The rotary camera shows us another cableway of Metschberg resort. The tourists who stay in Lenka use it to get to the main routes of the resort. There is an opportunity to rent accommodations directly on the slopes; on the screen, we can see mountain huts and restaurants with small rooms for overnight. You can stay in Standhütte, right on Metschstand Station.

In the summer months, you can see travellers conquering neighboring peaks. The slopes of the mountain are rather gentle, so you can get to Regenbolshorn, Bummeregrat and Metschstand without using lifts.
