Lucerne. The Bay

The webcam is in Luzern, on Lake Vierwaldstättersee. You’d tie your tongue in knots trying to say it, so it is often called Luzern. The camera is installed in the bay.

Travelers can rent a boat here or go on an hour-long excursion on one of the tourist ships cruising on the lake. Like everything in Switzerland, it is not cheap but they say it’s worth it; the views are stunning.

By the way, the original name of the lake translates as “Lake of Four Cantons.” The lake has a fairly large size, as not only Lucerne is located on its shores, it attracts a lot of tourists too.
