Simplon. Simplonpass
We can see Simplonpass, where the Hauptstrasse 9 is built. The pass connects the valley of the Rhone River in Switzerland with the Italian valley of Val d’Ossola. Tourists often stop near the lakes of Rotelsee and Hopschusee. These high-lying reservoirs are located on different sides of the pass at the foot of the high mountains.
The camera is installed in one of the hotels in the Simplon Pass. In clear weather, the hotel-restaurant Monte-Leone, with its unusual architecture, is seen in the background. You can stop in a round pink tower for $70. Next to this beautiful hotel is the entrance to the Lieu Magique park.
The pass has become a popular tourist destination due to its natural and manmade beauty. The top of the four-kilometer mountain, Fletshhorn, is perfectly visible from it. And, of course, every traveler admires the beautiful stone statue of an eagle.
