Visperterminen. Heidadorf Visperterminen Ski Resort
We are at the lower station of Visperterminen-Giw cableway. The ski resort of Heidadorf Visperterminen offers its visitors several stops on the way to one of the peaks of Mount Ochsehorn. When you get to the station Giw, you will be at an altitude of 1,950 meters above sea level, though the main routes of the resort start from an even more impressive altitude of 2,300 meters.
Although the village of Visperterminen is small, the laziest tourists can stay right at the lift, which you can see on the left. For instance, just a couple of meters from it is Rothorn Hotel-Restaurant, where rooms are $95 per night.
Prices for all ski resorts in the district of Visp are almost the same, but they are slightly lower in Visperterminen. The daily ticket costs 40 euros.
The slopes of the mountain, on which the trails for skiing are laid, offer stunning views of the neighboring mountains of Switzerland, so tourists also come here in the summer months. A lift serves them, as well as alpine restaurants such as Bergrestaurant Giw.
