The main reason for visiting this place must be not the park, where this webcam is located, but the ancient city of Ayutthaya, the former capital of Thailand. Buddha Maharaj Park is situated right near the central road and is worth seeing for its only attraction — a 51-meters high statue of a Buddhist monk. This is only a small part of cultural and architectural monuments, which await you in the city of Ayutthaya itself.

The old part of Ayutthaya is one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Numerous beautiful temples, many of which are very ancient, picturesque statues of Buddha and the Chan Kasem Palace will meet you there.

By the way, many of us will recognize some of the sights of the old town, which have featured in the game and movie Mortal Kombat.
