Bang Rakam. Bridge over the Yom River
The Thailand province of Phitsanulok is located in the north-central part of the country. It is famous for its national parks and temples, visited by residents from all over Thailand. The province often suffers from floods. In many ways, the rivers that flow through Phitsanuloku are “to blame”.
We are looking at one of these rivers, as well as a bridge across it, in the city of Bang Ra Kam. The Yom is one of the two largest rivers in this region. The second big river is Nan. Fisheries play a key role in the life of the province, so the economy of Bang Ra Kama developed thanks to the Yom River.
Near the bridge, which you see on the screen, there is a local police station and the administration of Bang Ra Kama, as well as the temple of Wat Sunthorn Pradit.
There is a large, for Thailand, oil field called, Thung Yai, in Bang Ra Ram.
