Khao Din. Bridge over the Ping River

Kau Lio is located in the north of the Thai province of Nakhon Sawan. This province is literally cut by the Ping River, the total length of which reaches almost 600 kilometers. The huge area of the Ping Basin of 33,000 square kilometers makes this river vital for the local population. It has a hydroelectric power station, a water reservoir and waterworks. The waters of the river are used for irrigation purposes when growing rice.

The bridge is the only link between the banks of the Ping River, in a radius of about 10 kilometers, so the traffic is quite intense, as you can see on the screen.

The camera is installed in a local restaurant where you can taste dishes of cooked freshwater fish, caught in the Ping River. Near the bridge, there is a local landmark, the Buddhist temple of Wat Paisan Uppatham, and on the west coast is Hat Salao Park.
