This webcam is located in the very heart of beautiful Kiev, which is the capital city and the most populous city in Ukraine. Here, in the cold winter of 2014, started the Ukrainian Revolution and Civil War.
Here begins your trip around this wonderful, its beautiful streets and historical places. Wide and noisy Khreshatik with its numerous cafes and restaurant is captured by our webcam. This street is closed for traffic during weekends.
The highest construction on the Square of Independence is the victory column, so called Independence Monument. The square features several fountains, which attract many children during the summer time.
From here you can take a pleasant walk to the Mariyinsky Palace, Ivan Franko National Academic Drama Theater, the Square of Europe and then down to the famous Andrew’s Descent.
