Banchory. Cairn O 'Mount
We can see the Old Military Road in Scotland, which goes through Cairn O ‘Mount. The camera is installed in the town of Cottar Brae Glendye, at the crossroads of the B974 highway and a country road. B974 connects the city of Bancori with Marikerk. The closest residential buildings are at the Bridge of Dai, which is over the Dai River.
Cairn O ‘Mount belongs to the Grampian Mountains. In Roman times, the pass was a military route. Small towns were built along this path, which turned into villages with population of a couple of hundred people each.
We are in Aberdeenshire. In this area of Scotland, you can find several interesting attractions, for example, the castle of Muchalls of the 13th century.
It’s an adventure when you go along the road, which you can see on the screen, especially in winter when it is covered with snow. This is what the guide about Scotland says.
