Southwold is a charming small town situated on the North Sea coast of the United Kingdom. Already in 1086, this town was mentioned as a prominent fishing port. Today visitors of Southwold come to the pier (captured by this webcam) to take a look at the wonderful view over the sea and enjoy beer or coffee in one of the numerous local pubs and restaurants. This pier has become one of the most famous landmarks of the town. Maybe you have seen it somewhere on one of the beautiful postcards or in travel magazines.
