Weymouth. Jurassic Skyline Tower
The camera of Hotel Weymouth Beach B & Bshows the main beach in Weymouth and the Jurassic Skyline, you can see it in the background.
Jurassic Skyline had been known as Weymouth Sea Life Tower until 2015, so you will still see its former name in the guides. The 53 meter tower was first opened in the summer of 2012. From it, you can see all the attractions of Weymouth and, on a clear day, have wonderful views across the English Channel and Lulworth Cove. Armed with binoculars, you can see the limestone arch of Durdle Door in West Lulworth.
Weymouth Beach became popular among residents of the UK, when King George III started visiting it at the turn of the eighteenth to nineteenth centuries. Small waves, a wide sandy beach and a gentle entry into the water made this English seaside resort one of the most popular in the south of the country.
