Lake of the Woods is located on the border of Canada and the United States, and part of the border line runs directly along the lake. This camera is installed on the southern shore of the lake, on the American side, in the territory of the fishing resort of Morris Point Lake View Lodge.

Tourists have come to fish in this resort since 1930. The lake is known as a great fishing place, so fans of fishing come here from nearby cities, as well as from other countries. Here, you can rent a house, a motor boat, as well as try fish specialties in the resort’s restaurant. There is a billiard room and other entertainment. From the open terraces of the resort, you can watch magnificent sunsets.

Here, you can travel from one island to another (there are almost 15,000 of them). In the list of the largest freshwater lakes in the USA, Lake of the Woods comes sixth, after the famous five Great Lakes of America.

Fishermen come to Lake of the Woods in search of pike, Canadian pikeperch, crappie, small fish, low-grown perch, lake trout, and sturgeon, as well as rare pike-maskinong.
