Cayucos. Cayucos State Beach

The California resort town, Cayucos, is known among fans of surfing and fishing, despite being one of the coldest Pacific resorts of the state. In 2009, Budget Travel Magazine named Cayucos the coldest town in America. The population of Cayucos is about 3,000 people, whose houses are built between the beach and the Cabrillo highway.

We are looking at the main tourist attraction of the resort, the Cayucos State Beach, from a house on Pacific Avenue. In the cold season, you can see fishermen and swimming tourists in summer. Thanks to this camera, surfers can monitor the weather and wave height.

The beach in the central part of the town, in contrast to what we see on the screen, has all the necessary infrastructure — playgrounds, showers, locker rooms, piers, cafes and restaurants, a surf shop and much more. Tourists who are interested in architecture, can visit the unusual landmark, Hearst Castle. This 19th century house is located on the Enchanted Hill, 8 kilometers from the ocean.
