Glenwood Springs. Grand Avenue Bridge

Grand Avenue Bridge is the largest construction project in western Colorado. The bridge was opened on November 6, 2017. At the opening ceremony, more than 3,000 local residents walked through it. Thanks to a new transport artery, the small town of Glenwood Springs got a road connecting Highway 82 and Highway 70.

There is a pedestrian bridge between Glenwood Springs and North Glenwood, where we can find a pool, caves, and an adventure park.

The camera is installed at Colorado Mountain College and is facing north. We can see the four-lane Grand Avenue. The bridge cost $125 million. The old bridge, built in 1953, was destroyed in 3 weeks in order to start building a new one.
