The town of Kitty Hawk has a very interesting location, it is on the barrier islands, the so-called Outer Banks of North Carolina. The population of Kitty Hawk is just a few thousand people, but this number does not include vacationers who rent accommodation here year round, in order to spend an unforgettable holiday on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean.

Tourists, who are interested in flying, also come here because the Wright brothers made their first airplane flights in the vicinity of Kitty Hawk, at the beginning of the last century. Since then, the town of Kitty Hawk is connected with the history of United States aviation. For example, aircraft carriers, warships, fighters and even the command module of Apollo 14 spacecraft were named after it. In the nearby town of Kill Devil Hills is a huge memorial in honor of the flight of the Wright brothers.
