Ocean Isle Beach. Resort Beach
Online cameras in the ocean resorts are usually installed in sports equipment stores or in surfing schools. Ocean Isle Beach is no exception. Here, right at the city’s pier is Salty’s Surf Shop, which sells surfboards, beach accessories, and also rents bicycles, boats, beach umbrellas, and sunbeds.
This coastal city of North Carolina is a popular resort, where only a few hundred people live. Most of them are engaged in tourism. Ocean Isle Beach became an independent settlement in only 1959. Tourists prefer to stay in small houses, most of which are built close to the beach.
Ocean Isle Beach is connected to mainland America by a bridge across the Coast Channel. The resort’s beach has received various awards, including a Best Restored Beach Award in 2008.
You can also see fans of extreme sports or vacationers sunbathing on the beach. On the right side is the legendary fishing pier, where tourists from all over America have been gathering for the past 60 years. The entrance fee is $1 for adults and 50 cents for children.
