Seal Island. National Reserve. Watching Puffins

Puffins are cute little waterfowl birds with beaks of original color. These web cameras, installed on the Machias Seal Island reserve, allow you to observe their lives in real time.

Puffins prefer to nest on a rocky shore. They arrange nests in burrows, which they dig themselves. Despite their modest size, puffins are real sea wolves and are not afraid to spend many days in the open sea, flying hundreds of kilometers from the nearest land.
