Danang. Trần Thị Lý Bridge

We can see Vietnamese Da Nang, as well as one of the six bridges of the city, Trần Thị Lý, in the Han River area. It replaces the two old bridges, Nguyễn Văn Trỗi and Trần Thị Lý. About 75 million US dollars were invested in it and the construction began in 2009.

The bridge resembles a huge ship. The sails are represented by steel cables. The total length of the bridge is 731 meters, and the width is 34.5 meters. The builders took care of the surrounding area. There are many green areas around the bridge.

The old bridge had been a railroad until 1975, then it was reconstructed into a highway. Like many other Da Nang bridges, Trần Thị Lý has not only 6 lanes for traffic, but also two pedestrian sidewalks, so that city residents can easily get from one river bank to another.

The main feature of the bridge is the pylon, tilted at an angle of 120 degrees.
