This webcam faces famous Mammoth Hot Springs in Yellowstone National Park in the state of Wyoming. Mammoth Hot Springs are giant hot springs on a hill of travertine. It took nature many thousands of years to create them. Today, thanks to this webcam, we can enjoy the spectacular view of these magic limestone terraces right from our homes.

It is so hard to believe that these beautiful terraces of Mammoth Hot Springs are nothing else, but a natural result of the cooling of the hot water coming from located nearby Norris Geyser Basin. Algae, which lives in these warm puddles, make them change their color to brown, orange, red, and green.
