Antartica. The Teniente Marsh Airport

This webcam captures the Teniente Marsh Airport, the only Chilean airport located in the continent of Antarctica. In theory, this must be the southernmost airport for Chile and the world’s northernmost airport in Antarctica.

Among the main attractions of this distant region, we can mention penguins, blue whales, orcas, colossal squids and seals. It is hard to call this destination very popular or even just popular. For instance, the Teniente Marsh Airport serves mostly the surrounding research stations. Still, if you absolutely want to visit Antarctica, it will hardly become a huge problem. Several stations like, for example, McMurdo Station, can accommodate more than 1000 people at one time.
