Washington, D.C.. The United States Capitol

This webcam faces the magnificent Capitol in Washington, D.C. It took about 90 years to complete the construction of this massive building, built in neoclassical style. Today the Capitol is the seat of the United States Congress.

America’s first presidents, Thomas Jefferson and George Washington, were involved in planning, and have personally taken care of some important issues related to the process of construction of the Capitol.
