Schinias. View to the National Park of Marathon

The beach of Schinias is located southeast of the town Marathon and is a popular place for windsurfing. The Olympic Rowing Center of the 2004 Summer Olympics is also situated there.

At the Summer Olympic Games in 1896 and 2004 town Marathon was the starting point of the marathon races.
