Brixen im Thale. Jochbahn Station

SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental includes several ski resorts united in a huge network of trails and ski lifts. Thanks to this network, tourists can use different routes with a single ski pass.

On the screen, we can see the top station of the ropeway, Jochbahn, built in 2015. This eight-seater chair lift delivers tourists from Sonnberg to a height of 1,674 meters above sea level. Skiers cover a two-kilometer path in 5 minutes. A protective screen saves skiers from snow in bad weather.

The swivel camera first shows us the slope where the cableway is built. At this moment, you can enjoy views of Brixen im Thale and its districts at the foot of the mountain. Then the camera turns to the west, where there are other lifts.

Jochbahn Station is built in a picturesque place, near a mountain water body. In the summer months, as well as in the winter, tourists can visit the restaurant, Berggasthof Jochstubn, on the shore of the lake.
