Embach. Church of St. Lawrence of Rome
Let’s look at the Austrian lands in Zell am See. The camera is located in the small village of Embach, built at an altitude of 1,013 meters above sea level. There are cross-country skiing tracks, summer hiking trails and bike routes here.
We can also see the Roman Catholic parish of St. Lawrence. The church was constructed 500 years ago, in 1508. The last major reconstruction took place in 1785. Earlier, there was a small chapel. It was built at the turn of the millennium, and then rebuilt in 1344. There is also the chapel of Maria Elend.
We can see not only the old church, but also hotels, shops and the tourist center in the village. Small hotels offer cozy rooms for the price of 30 euros. If you get half board, it costs 50 euros.
Guests of Embach can visit one of the farms, where they can see the real country life of Austria.
