Flachau. Achter Jet Ski Resort
The Austrian village of Flachau is a full-fledged ski resort, consisting of 46 slopes, with 51 lifts leading to them. This number of funiculars is due to a tangible difference in heights; the highest point accessible to tourists is at an altitude of 1,980 meters, and the lowest, Achter Jet station, is at 900 meters.
We are on the intermediate station of the cableway. Here, at an altitude of 1,600 meters, is Birkhahnalm Skirestaurant, a restaurant of Austrian cuisine, as well as a mini-hotel, Griessenkarhaus Flachau. Vacationers can purchase a service package, which includes accommodation in a hotel, with food included, and a ski pass to the ski lifts of Flachau.
The ski center, located at the foot of the mountain, is continuously training not only skiers of the Austrian Ski Federation, but also foreign sportsmen. On the slopes of Flachau, which we can see on the screen, more than one generation of stars of winter sports has been trained. For example, the skier, Hermann Meyer, and snowboarders, Claudia and Manuela Reigler, conducted their trainings here.
