The cableways of several Austrian resorts meet at the top of Kogelalm. The camera is installed at the Starjet 3 lift station, which connects Kogelalm with the Flachau community. On the screen, we can see the eight-seat lift, built in 1986, and upgraded several times since then.

Starjet 3 serves only a small part of the ski slope. The length of the cableway is 1,161 meters, and the difference in altitude, between the upper and lower stations, is only 253 meters. In 2007, for the convenience of tourists, Starjet 3 was upgraded with heated seats and a canopy.

In 2011, at the top station of the lift (where this webcam is installed), a new service was introduced: all vacationers are photographed upon arrival at the station. The portrait can be purchased in the information centers of the resort.

In addition to Starjet 3, Mozart II, SpaceJet 3 and Die Rote 8er II also operate on top of Kogelalm.
