Wagrain. Grießenkareck

From a height of 1,845 meters above sea level, we can see a panorama of the Austrian resort of Wagrain. At the top of the Sacred Hill are several lifts, which transport tourists from different villages situated at the foot of the mountain.

In winter, Wagrain offers 120 kilometers of ski slopes, 45 lifts of various types, tubing descents, a snow park for beginners and snowy igloo. Children are not deprived of attention either; Kinderalm fan zone and the game house, Zwergerlhaus, are always at young skiers’ disposal.

Grießenkareck, from which we are looking at the surroundings of Wagrain, can shelter tourists for a few days because next to the funiculars, which appear on the screen now and then, is Hotel Kogelalm. You can stay here for only 70-80 euros and get unrivaled views outside the windows.

In summer, one can meet religious tourists who climb to the worship place of Koglalm Kapelle.
