Grossarl. Panorama of Großarltal

The ski areas of Dorfgastein and Großarl are considered one big resort, as they are located on neighboring peaks and are included in the Ski Amadé Association.

In total, the mountain on which this camera is installed has 73 kilometers of varied and well-prepared tracks, and the whole Ski Amadé has 760 kilometers of ski runs, with 270 lifts! A single ski pass is valid at all resorts of this association. You can buy a ticket for the entire season for 500-600 euros and, for 7 months, enjoy all the benefits and services provided by a ski pass.

But, let’s return to the Großarl resort, where we are looking at one of the intermediate stations. To get to the highest point of the ski slope, you need to ski along a short route, in a northwesterly direction, to another ski lift.

The ideal condition of the snow cover of trails, from November to April, is provided by snowcats and natural snow, and trails are corrected by snow cannons in case of unforeseen failures.
