Grossarl. The Upper Station of Harbachbahn Cableway

Harbachbahn is an intermediate cableway, which can be accessed either by the Panoramabahn ski lift of Großarl Resort or through the neighboring Hochbrandbahn. You can choose any of them, because all ski lifts have a single pass.

Built in 2002, Harbachbahn six-seater chairlift has a length of 1,553 meters. You will cover this distance in five and a half minutes, after which you will find yourself at an altitude of 1,787.5 meters above sea level, thus rising 515 meters. The elevator, manufactured by Girak-Garaventa, has 15 supports and a capacity of almost 2,500 people per hour.

The survey camera at the upper station of Harbachbahn shows many trails on the slopes of Mount Kreiskogel, as well as the upper station of the nearby funicular, Panoramabahn II. A mountain restaurant of Austrian cuisine is located between these two lifts, and you can also taste delicious meals at the Panoramabahn II station in Laireiter.
