Hochkar. Almlift Chairlift

On your screens you can see the four-seater chairlift of the Hochkar Resort. This is one of several cable cars, which tourists can use on a single subscription. In the summer months, under the cable car, cows from neighboring farms gather, instead of ski fans, and of all the lifts, only Hochkarbahn operates (in the summer you can ride for € 19 in both directions).

The situation changes radically in the winter, when all 8 lifts, of different capacities, begin their work. The lower station of the cable car, which you see on the screen, is filled with a huge number of tourists. It is on the lower station that the entire infrastructure for recreation, hotels, restaurants, shops, large parking, and so on is built.

At the bottom left of the screen, we can see a huge hotel, JUFA Hotel Hochkar-Sport-Resort, where you can rent a room for € 75 per day. This is one of the most affordable accommodation options near the lower station of the resort.

Thanks to the varied terrain, Hochkar runs have varying levels of difficulty, so they suit both beginners and experienced skiers.
