Kals am Großglockner. Kals Valley

You can see one of the ski areas of Tyrol, located in the Kals Valley. Trails of Kalser Bergbahnen Resort go from the tops of the surrounding mountains directly to the community of Kals am Grossglockner, which we see on the screen. We can see two cableways, Kals I and Figollift. You can ski on any slope if you buy a single ticket, valid for all the lifts of the resort.

Due to the modest size of the village of Kals am Grossglockner, visitors can walk to the ski lift station from any local hotel. Skiers and snowboarders come here long before the slopes are covered with snow, as special equipment is used here for making artificial snow.

We can see one of the main architectural attractions of the village, St George’s Church. Grosdorf district is a large meadow. A church was built here 800 years ago. The high tower, which you can see, was built a few centuries ago and since then has been one of the symbols of Kals am Grossglockner.
