Längenfeld. Thermal Springs 1,165 m

The webcam is in a unique place, Austrian Längenfeld. We will start with the thermal springs, and then we’ll say a few words about the area.

The first therms appeared in Längenfeld in the 16th century. But in the 1970s, the waters dried up and the resort was useless for a couple of decades. However, reasonable Austrians made a new well in order to restore the resort. And now, the guests of Längenfeld have the opportunity to improve their health and beauty due to thermal (and at the same time glacial) waters, which come from a depth of 1,865 meters.

What else is interesting in Längenfeld? Skiing, of course. And its original culture, carefully preserved by the locals. Residents of the surrounding villages could have left farming and made money on tourists, but they did not.
