Lech. Trittkopf Station

An incredible view of the Klostertal Valley and the resort area of Zürs opens up from the upper station of the Trittkopfbahn II funicular, built in 2016. Imagine what landscapes are visible from the panoramic cabins of this lift! Tourists can observe natural beauty for 8 minutes, traveling from 1,724 meters above sea level to a height of 2,420 meters.

Trails by which you can reach the lower station of Trittkopfbahn are laid in no less picturesque places, but you’d better stick to your route because some of them have quite complex areas.

Let’s turn our attention to the foot of Mount Trittkopf. At first glance, Zürs is like a small mountain village. But everything you see in the lower part of the resort, has been built specifically for the tourism industry of Lech. Hotels, restaurants, shops, souvenir shops, and even the fire department create a separate town for holidaymakers.

In the summer months, on the opposite side of the valley, tourist mountain trails are visible, along which travelers can conquer the peaks of the Lechquellengebirge range.
