St. Anton am Arlberg. Galsig Mountain Station 2,080 m

Alpine resorts are no less interesting than the Egyptian pyramids, right? St. Anton-am-Arlberg (or simply St. Anton) is one such place. The railway, goes through the Arlberg tunnel, which is a more than 10-kilometer hole in the mountain, along which trains have been successfully running for more than 100 years. It’s great, isn’t it?

And here in St. Anton am Arlberg, is the world’s first ski club, opened in 1901. High-speed skiing competitions were held here for the first time. The first ski school was opened here too.

The resort is still very popular with skiers and snowboarders of any level of training, and freeriding is also popular here.

In total, the ski region of Arlberg (St. Anton is part of it) has 278 km of ski trails and 185 km of trails for freeskiing. Any skier will like it here.
