Murau. Golfclub Murau-Kreischberg

Murau and its surroundings are known primarily as ski resorts. Trails are laid on the Alpine slopes, along which the borders of Styria and Carinthia pass. Only a few tourists come here to play the elite sport of golf.

In the summer, there are also a lot of tourists in Murau because the same cable cars skiers use in winter, are perfect for hiking in the mountains during the summer. The wealthiest guests of the community rarely venture out from the expensive hotels, and if they do go somewhere, it’s not to the mountains but to the golf courses.

One of these courses is on your screen. The flying camera periodically shows the panorama of the golf club, Murau-Kreischberg, an 18-hole course that opened in the Marbach region in 2006. It’s interesting that a railway passes right through the course, so a quiet and calm game of golf can be periodically interrupted by the sound of the coming train.

A starter package, which includes everything you need for the game, costs € 380. The price can be reduced by 100 euros if the visitor has a season ticket for Kreischberg or Lachtal.
