Murau. Ski Resort on Mount Kreisberg

A flying camera is the best way to get acquainted with the ski resort you are going to visit during your vacation. From the height of a bird’s flight, you can estimate, literally, every aspect of such a holiday. This camera, in the resort of Murau, shows us the variety of trails, ski lifts and mountain restaurants, and most importantly, the load of all these objects.

Frequently, the camera flies over the upper stations of the cable cars built at the top of Kreischberg (2,002 meters above sea level). Next to one of the stations, you can see a restaurant with a round tent called Panoramaschirm. One negative is that visitors can smoke inside, however, the benefit is there is a stunning outdoor terrace from which you can see beautiful scenery of the Alpine mountains.

It is noteworthy that the most interesting and exciting area for skiing is even higher, on the slopes of Rosenkranzhöhe. Two lifts run to this peak (2,118 meters), one of which (a double drag lift) was built in 1979.

In the background of the image, there are several artificial reservoirs used for snowmaking, at the beginning and end of the season.
