Oetz. Hochoetz Station

Let’s have a look at the unusual part of Oetz Ski Resort, located at Hochoetz Station. In the summer months, the resort continues its work, and in addition to the usual walks in the mountains, it also offers a great entertainment program for children and adults.

A huge playground, Widiversum, has been built at Hochoetz Station for young tourists. It includes several play areas, a large artificial pond with floating islands, sports equipment and cognitive stands.

Professional animators work with visitors to Widiversum. They play an interactive adventure game, in which children have to pass through the obstacle course and find all the treasures. The program changes every year, so former visitors of the resort are no less interested than newcomers.

It costs 18 euros (a children’s ticket is 10 euros) to rise from Oetz to Widiversum, by the cableway, in the summer. Cyclists use the elevator when the snow melts, and local slopes turn into interesting cycling tracks.
