Pfarrwerfen. Panoramic View
The webcam shows us the small and cozy village of Pfarrwerfen, located 45 kilometers south of the homeland of Mozart, the city of Salzburg. The Austrian communty is surrounded by high Alps on all sides, which is why so many tourists come here. Guests of the village can enjoy magnificent landscapes or go to the ski slopes.
Hiking, climbing, cycling, walking, archery, paragliding, skiing, sleigh rides, and falconry are all equally available for holidaymakers, at different times of the year. There are also sights, for example, of an ice cave and a medieval castle where the medieval atmosphere is recreated.
The camera is installed almost in the center of Pfarrwerfen, between the Salzach River and the Tauernautobahn motorway. The nearest funicular, Bergbahnen Werfenweng, which takes you to the ski slopes, is approximately 9 kilometers away. So, if you came to conquer the snow-covered slopes of the Austrian mountains and stopped in Pfarrwerfen, you will have to rent a car or a bus, but the trip will be free with a ski pass.
