Pillberg. The Valley of the Inn
The river that flows from Switzerland, into the Tyrolean land, has become home to many major cities, including Innsbruck. The camera is installed in the village of Pillberg, located 30 kilometers to the east of the capital of Tyrol. Like other towns of the Inn Valley, Pillberg has ski slopes and hiking trails in the Alpine mountains.
The camera is installed in the Hochpillberg district. Several hotels have been built, and the 1980 chairlift still functions there. Due to their unique location, hotels in Hochpillberg are quite expensive. If you want to enjoy a view of the Inn Valley, like this one, you will have to pay more than 150 euros for a double room, such as at the Frieden DAS Alpine Panorama Hotel.
The panoramic camera shows several settlements located on the way to Innsbruck. On the opposite side of the valley, we can see the snow-capped peaks of the Karwendel mountain range. The slopes of it are so steep that there are practically no ski runs there. Karwendel is mainly popular among mountaineers.
