Ramsau am Dachstein. Community Panorama

The Austrian community of Ramsau am Dachstein is located just north of the large ski resort of Planai-Hochwurzen-Bahnen. Tourists can go skiing or snowboarding on the opposite slopes of the village, but these routes can’t be compared to neighboring resorts.

Ramsau am Dachstein, nevertheless, is considered one of the sports centers of Liezen County. The fact is that there are a huge number of cross-country ski runs, with a total length of several hundred kilometers. Ramsau am Dachstein regularly holds the World Cup in Nordic Combined.

Thanks to this panoramic camera, you can see the architecture of Ramsau am Dachstein. In the village, there are real monuments of antiquity, like medieval houses, as well as the Protestant church, built at the end of the 19th century.

Another point of attraction for tourists is the Austriahütte Museum in Styria. But not all travelers are ready to visit this unusual museum, as it is built in the mountains at an altitude of 1,638 meters above sea level.
