The municipality itself is not interesting for tourists, it is a quiet village in the Austrian Alps. The Alps are much more interesting.

The mountains surrounding Rangersdorf have a huge network of tourist hiking routes, and there are crowds of tourists all year round. The nearest ski resort, Zettersfeld, is located 35 kilometers away from the village.

In the late Middle Ages, gold and silver mining was developed in Rangersdorf. Today, in addition to tourism, agriculture and the construction industry is well-developed in this small Austrian village. There are several attractions, such as churches, Catholic crosses on tops of mountains, waterfalls and canyons.
