Wildschönau. Roggenboden Training Route

For the convenience of skiers with different levels of training, Wildschönau has separated training and main areas. Due to this, skiers who go down the mountain slopes do not get to the training tracks.

We are in the Ferting area at the top station of the Roggenboden ski lift. To ensure that newcomers do not spend too much effort on the road, several hotels are built near the lower station of the cableway. We can see these hotels, as well as another training lift, in the left part of the image.

It’s interesting that a one-day ski pass coasts just a bit less than a ski pass for any ski lift in Wildschönau, € 31.50 compared to € 44.

Hotels in Fertinge are not very expensive, despite being four-star, possibly due to the distance from popular routes. In the Talhof Hotel, which has an indoor pool, a spa and other infrastructure, double rooms start at € 100 per day.
