Grasslands National Park. Watching Bison and Prairie Dogs
The webcam is on the territory of the Grandsland National Park, created by Canadians to protect the inhabitants of the prairies of the reserve.
First and foremost, you can see the US gift to Canada, bison, which could not preserve its own population of calm, powerful animals. If you’re lucky, you can also see black-tailed prairie dogs (a rodent of the family Sciuridae), which, incidentally, live only in the national park and nowhere else in the vast Canadian territory.
