Val Marie. Watching Bison at the Watering Place

The webcam is in the outskirts of the Canadian town of Val Marie, located near the United States border. This place is also called “the gateway to Grasslands National Park.”

Near the town, there is a watering place where you can almost always see bison. Unbelievable!

These bison appeared here only in the middle of the 2000s, and before that these animals had not been seen in the district for almost a century and a half. When people come to nature, the first to suffer are the largest animals.

Those bison you see, thanks to this webcam, are imported from the US or the offspring of bison brought here from the US.
