The North Hong Kong district, Kowloon City, as well as other central areas of the city, is built up with high-rise buildings. This webcam is installed in one of these houses. We are looking toward the island of Hong Kong and can see several mountain peaks of this island, Pottinger, Parker, and Butler.
Just behind the skyscrapers, in the center of the image, you can see the Kowloon Bay, as well as the narrow isthmus, Lei Yue Mun. This channel connects two bays, Kowloon and Junk. Lei Yue Mun, which you can see on the left, behind a red and white skyscraper, is located 7.5 kilometers away from the camera. If you sail along the channel the same distance, you will find yourself on the island of Tung Lung Chau.
Pay attention to the buildings of Kowloon City. Skyscrapers have the most diverse architecture and purpose. For example, many buildings are used not only as office buildings, but also as residential buildings. The second type is represented by the aforementioned red-white-turquoise skyscraper (we can see it in the center), as well as the Sky Tower complex — the highest houses in this image.
