Bale. View from Soardo Bembo Palace

We can see the suburb of Balé, a small Croatian community with a population of just over 1,000 people. We are looking at the neighborhood of the community from the Soardo Bembo Palace, which was built in the 16th century on a small hill. The Gothic-style palace is built between two defense towers.

The palace was built by the Soardo family, and later owned by the Bembo family, hence the name of this architectural masterpiece. Originally, the palace was a defensive structure but later became a residential building. In front of the entrance to the palace is another camera.

The camera shows us the forests and mountains around Bale. By the way, fossils of the dinosaurs of the Histriasaurus genus have been found there. They can be seen in the town museum. Also, tourists visit the Church of the Holy Spirit of the 15th century. It is remarkable for its colorful frescoes on the ceiling and walls.
